A Guide To Fender Guitars

You would be surprised at how the world of string instruments has invaded America. Everywhere you go, you will definitely see guitar shops. A famous company that manufactures stringed instrument is Fender Musical Instruments Corporation of Scottsdale, Arizona. They are the known creator of the Fender Guitar. Other products that they have been manufacturing are top of the line amplifiers, Telecaster and Stratocaster.

Originally named as Fender Electric Instrument Manufacturing Company, it was established in 1946 by Clarence Leonidas Fender. Its instrument models like the Stratocaster, Telecaster, Precission Bass and Jazz Bass were not changed since 1950's and 1960's original styles.

For the passed few years, Fender Musical Instruments Corporation has extended by making and providing steel-string acoustic guitars. The company has bought a number of other instrument companies like the Sunn Amplifier Company, Guild Guitar Company and SWR Sound Corporation.

On February 2007, Fender Guitar informed the public that they would create a pictured product guide as a replacement for its traditional yearly Frontline magazine. The famous guitars that they have manufactured are Highway One Stratocaster, VG Stratocaster and G.E. Smith Telecaster. Fender has also manufactured amplifiers that produce good sound quality.

Accessories like platinum bass cables, Deluxe Gig bags and mini acoustic guitar stand is also available in Fender.

Many rock band guitarists have used a Fender Guitar model for their concerts and recordings like Elvis Costello, Leroy Miller of Smash Mouth, Lou Toomey of Brooks and Done. The popular rock band Paramore has also used Fender Guitars, so as Sting, Shakira, Jeff Beck and James Valentine of The Maroon Five.
